Ballet Beauties!

Marie I hope you enjoyed your moment of fame, cuz you are being DE-THRONED! My daughter is just TOO CUTE! It has been so fun to see her grow up into her own person! We recently put her into a community tumbling class that lasts for 2 months. After her first day of tumbling we were on the way home and talking about her class and she stopped and said "I want to take a ballet class." Scott and I have wanted to put her in ballet for a long time so we were thrilled that she finally wanted to take one! We found a great studio that had a class starting the next week! It is only 30$ a month! We were so excited... and so was she! Her first day was so great! She did WONDERFUL her first day! I can't wait to see her grow and progress! She even gets to be a a few recitals! We got her a new ballet outfit and snapped these pictures of her. Braden couldn't resist posing with sister! Aren't they the cutest kids EVER!!!!

What have I gotten myself into!????

Well life here has just taken a CRAZY turn for me! I have officially been accepted to be on the design team at digital-scrapbooking.org!!!! YEAH!!!!! For those of you who have NO CLUE what I am talking about... I will give you a short explanation. It means.... I HAVE A JOB!!!!! LOL. Basically with all these layouts I post I create most of the graphics you see. I have finally gotten good enough that some one has allowed me to sell on their site! I am REALLY excited about this! I have a bunch of responsibilities that this places on me, but I think it will help me grow and hopefully gain some..... um... what is that word....oh yeah......time management skills! Part of these new duties include having a blog that I update once a week! I could use this one.... however, I have to use it for advertising and A LOT more public traffic will be directed to the blog. I have decided to keep THIS blog as a family affair! lol. So I will continue posting layouts of the kids and things that are more personal to this blog. I will be starting a new blog for the more public traffic to accommodate this job requirement. This means though that I will be pretty busy the next month or so getting things set up and in line with the new blog. So for now I am putting this one on hold. Only for a little while though. Just untill I can get my head screwed on a bit straighter with this new GIANT HELPING I have shoveled on to my plate. LOL. So here are a few layouts for your viewing pleasure to keep you all happy till the next time I can post. (hopefully only a few weeks)

Back to the daily grind!

As a kid I always hated to see the end of the holiday season. Some how as an adult I have found myself looking forward to getting back to daily life! LOL. Now that we have a few weeks of January marked off the calendar I can finaly get back to normal life! (as if life is ever really normal) I did get a chance to scrap some photos from this years Christmas and thought I would share them! The kids loved Christmas as well as Scott and I. It was great to go home and spend a week at moms house and just relax a bit! THANKS MOM!!!

I did learn a very valuable lesson this year. It doesn't matter how many fun toys you buy them for Christmas..... they still get bored and want you to play with them!!!! (man it would have saved me some money to know this BEFORE Christmas!!! I am also putting a comic in this post. This was in last weeks Sunday paper and I had to laugh because this has been my life since Christmas EXACTLY!!!!! Hope you all enjoy it too!!!!

Sentiments of the Season

Well, after tragically loosing this scrapbook page in a freak accident (my computer wigged out and deleted it when I was almost done!) I have finally managed to get my challenge page done!!!! On the forum I play around in they have monthly challenges. This month I had the honor of being the challenge host! That means I get to tell every one what to do!!! LOL (ahh... power!). Anyway, the challenge was to do a scrapbook page showing something that had particular sentimental value to you this time of year. It could be a decoration, family tradition, or just a fond memory that you enjoy during this season. This was the page I did for my challenge...... the 2nd to last day of the month... but hey.... at least I got it in on time!!!
