The two largest scabs have been there for a while. He scratched his face with his fingernails and then learned to pick the scabs and hasn't left them alone since. Then today I was at a primary meeting and he was playing outside. THREE TIMES he fell on the cement and scraped his face up!!!! ARG!!! I am hoping the pediatrician knows me well enough NOT to accuse me of abuse!!! My poor baby!!We had Braden's birthday cake on his birthday April 25th! He loved being the center of attention and thought the cake was really neat! I was pretty proud of it myself! LOL. I had NO IDEA what to do for his cake until we were at the dollar store and they were selling these dinosaurs at 10 cents each... and the cake was born! When I was frosting the cake I had taken a bit of frosting and colored it blue for the lake. I set it aside in a bowl and left the room for a minute. Braden soon walks into the room where I am now at with the bowl of blue frosting and a SPOON!!! He was quite happy!!! LOL.... until I took it away!!!! He managed to swipe his finger through the frosting a few times while I was frosting it too! Amalyssa was trying SO HARD to be good... but you could tell that it was driving her NUTS that Braden was 'getting' frosting and she wasn't!!! Sigh.... What is a mom to do?

Alien baby, alien baby!! ..... wow... good luck explaining that one to your pediatrician... sure... we all know the truth, Tina... uh huh. At least you made up for it and did a really cute cake for his birthday! ;-)
Way cute cake ma'dam! don't worry about the doc...when I was little I colored with blue marker all over bens' back a few days before one of his well check ups so it had been washed off, but there was still that bluish shadow across his back...like bruises...or someone had beaten him...ha ha. my mom told them that story and they laughed. as soon as the sun comes out I'd like to schedule a photo session...you know the one we should have done forvever ago??? life is crazy.
Well if you'd just stop beating him...
lol, don't you love that?
