Scrapbook page!

Do you remember like 2 post's ago I said "and there is a scrapbook page that goes here, but you will have to wait for it." REMEMBER?? I am sure you are all just dying to see the page! LOL. Well worry not, the page is done and here it is!

Story: While Victoria and I were window shopping with the kids at Gardner Village we saw these necklaces! These were all the rage when we where in grade school. Seeing them again was like entering some strange time warp! We had a good laugh over it and took pictures so we could blog to the world about our nostalgia. I almost bough one just for old times sake.... then I realized that it was a silly waste of money... which I didn't have... So I settled for pictures.

The side journaling says-

You know you're old when...

you use the term "blast from the past."

you tell your kids "I had this when I was your age."

you see something and say "I haven't seen these forever!"

you want to buy expensive 'junk' because it makes you feel young.

you finally understand what your mom meant when she said "it's a waste of money."

Hope you get a good laugh out of this! I know I did!

(WHOA!! Marie just read this post and she said that the striped paper on the side of the page reminds her of some outfits mom made us when we were about the same age that we had these necklaces!!! NO WAY... it TOTALLY does!!! Maybe I picked that paper because of some hidden memory! I can totally see a picture of us both in our striped outfits with our plastic chain necklaces on! Does such a photo really exist??? MOM- if it does... SEND IT TO ME PLEASE! I can see a 2 page LO coming!)

I totally saw those necklaces at Posh, I loved them and the kids wondered why I was getting so excited. I wanted to buy one too, and I was kind of sad that they didn't have a lot of the charms I used to have. Doesn't it make you a little curious to know where she ordered them from?
